Kelsey graduated from Auburn University, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Nonprofit and Philanthropy Studies. She has been a part of our team since November 2015. War Eagle!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keli Anders

Program Director

Keli is a PATH certified riding instructoras well as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Born in Reno,Nevada and raised in Northern California, she has been obsessed with horses and all the awesomeness they bring to humans since day one.

 

 

 

 

  

 

Danielle

Assistant Program Director

Danielle joined the team in 2014. She was a volunteer for a year, then fell in love with the job and the horses. She is now PATH Certified Instructor. She has always been passionate about children and adults with special needs and horses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Terre Sutherland

Volunteer Coordinator

Terre retired to Smith Lake in 2013 from Baxter International's BioLife Testing Laboratory, Hoover, a manager for 34 years. She joined Hope in December 2013 as their first on site volunteer. She recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with Jerry, an Optometrist at Marx Optical. Terre is a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 with the 4th expected in May.

 

 

 

 

Missy Blaylock

Activities Director

Missy has a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Alabama. She is a charter member of the board of Hope Horses and has been our Activities Director since day one. She is married and has 3 children."I personally feel that 'having fun' at Hope Horses is very therapeutic and educational. That's what we strive to do every day at Hope."
